  • Where can I buy a new leather strap?

    There are various strap types to choose from, depending on the model. Contact your Glashütte Original dealer or our service directly to order a new strap.

  • I have a nickel allergy. Is it still safe for me to wear Glashütte Original watches?

    Our materials undergo strict tests in order to eliminate allergies. The stainless steel we use (316L) contains a small amount of nickel. It is not emitted, and thus does not pose a risk to people with nickel allergies. The only exception is people who react sensitively to stainless steel. In this case, we recommend buying a watch made from a precious metal, such as gold or platinum.

  • What is the benefit of the silicon balance spring in my Senator Excellence?

    The new automatic Calibre 36 is the beating heart of our Senator Excellence family, and it owes its high precision in part to the innovative silicon balance spring. The high-tech material not only makes the wafer-thin spring immune to magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations, but also enables extremely isochronous oscillation - for optimum results.
